Harvey Reminders stores all your data exclusively on your device:
- All reminders are stored in a local SQLite database on your device
- No cloud sync or remote servers - everything stays on your device
- No user accounts or registration required
- No internet connection needed to use the app
- Your data is never transmitted to any external servers
- Deleting the app permanently removes all your reminders
🎤 Microphone & Speech Recognition
For the voice input feature, Harvey Reminders uses your device's microphone:
- Microphone access is only used for the voice-to-text feature
- Audio is processed locally on your device when possible
- No audio recordings are saved or stored
- You can use the app without granting microphone access by typing reminders manually
- Speech recognition is powered by iOS native capabilities
🔔 Notifications
Local notifications are used to alert you when reminders are due:
- All notifications are scheduled locally on your device
- No push notification service or remote servers involved
- Notification permissions are requested on first launch
